Recover Password Of DVR Through Telnet

In some cases, customers do not access the system often, only when something happens and you have to get an important image, and it is then that discovers forgotten password. Or for any errors in the system, the password created no longer works.

One of the most practical ways to solve this problem is to access the DVR system, through Telnet, and delete any password that has been created, thus leaving the DVR system with the default password from the factory. If you do not know the default password of your equipment click on here.

      1. Cardoso good nights colleague, tengo un DVR VE-2316SS-C, It is virtually the same as the TD-2316SS-C, its serial is: VE-2316SS-C1310150048. I need to reset the password by forgetting the same. I have it mounted in the lab and I can reach out for the user interface and Telnet. By simulating a network to take an IP and enter the telnet, I was able to identify an IP Scanner which is manufactured by TVT CO but can not find this model among its latest products. I've seen that model also labeled with the same model but the company TECVoz. I used all combinations via telnet login and password according to the list of manufacturers to get in through root or admin and reset it to have the default password is 666666 but I have failed. I suggest colleague? Thankful in advance for your comments and help you can give me. angel Trujillo

    I have a DVR TecVoz, modelo TD-2316SS Light e um TD-2316ME Plus 2w. Fiz-oriented procedures on the video, but the connection fails. The DVR IP is correct, because access it via browser, just do not have the password.
    You know any difference to this DVR?

  10. I have a Domar green 16 channel dvr, the original is admin password is blank I changed the password months ago, I cannot remember it, after 5 login attempts it locks me out.
    Any help is much appreciated
